2015 has been a strong year for Shanghai’s office leasing, investment, and residential sales markets. For the year of 2015, Shanghai’s office leasing net absorption hit a record high and strong office rental prospects have led to a number of milestone transactions in Shanghai. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Joe Zhou, Head of JLL Research China on February 26th, 2016. Mr. Zhou will share Shanghai real estate market highlights from 2015 as well as provide an outlook for what 2016 has in store for the industry.

    National Director Head of Research - China at JLL

    Joe Zhou is the Head of Research for JLL in China. He works with a team of 40 researchers across 12 offices in China to cover the office, retail, residential, and industrial property sectors in the key cities in mainland China. He is responsible for writing and coordinating JLL’s regular research publications, and focuses on tracking and analyzing government policies and economic data and updates internal and external clients on the implications of related economic or policy changes. He is also responsible for coordinating various for-fee projects the firm undertakes on behalf of key clients.
    Joe holds two post-graduate degrees: one is a Master's Degree in Construction Economics and Management from University College of London (UCL), while the other is a Master's Degree in Housing from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Joe also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Shanghai Tongji University.
