As the economic slowdown takes hold in China, performance management and dismissing the lower performers is becoming more critical for employers. The Chinese employment law regime favours employees and ‎makes it difficult to discipline them or terminate their employment. In this seminar we will provide a brief overview of the law and some tips in increasing the flexibility to manage those employees who do not perform in a satisfactory manner or whose positions will be eliminated.
