The CanCham Future Talent Forum brings together students, young professionals, business leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and industry experts for an afternoon of insight, dialogue, and connection. Designed around the future of work, AI, entrepreneurship, and career development, the forum explores how the next generation can adapt, lead, and create opportunity in a rapidly changing global environment.


The event will open with remarks from CanCham Shanghai and the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai, followed by plenary speeches from leaders in finance and entertainment. Two panel discussions will then examine how AI is reshaping the workplace and how entrepreneurs can build, lead, and grow within China's evolving innovation ecosystem.


Through practical conversations and diverse perspectives from business, academia, technology, finance, media, and social impact, the forum aims to equip participants with a clearer understanding of the skills, mindsets, and opportunities shaping the future of talent.

The program opens with remarks from Mark Ceolin, Chair of CanCham Shanghai, and Tracy Diehl, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai, followed by plenary insights from Jun Qian, Dean of Fudan International School of Finance, and Yvonne He, Senior Vice President at IMAX China.
