Judy is the leader of the China Services Group and a tax partner of Grant Thornton LLP in Canada. She has practiced in Canadian and international taxation in Canada since 2001, giving her in-depth expertise in this area. Over her 14 years of tax practices in leading accounting firms in Canada, she has taken the lead roles in structuring business transactions and deals for private and public companies on corporate income tax planning, corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions and cross-border tax matters, allowing her clients to achieve their business objectives in a tax efficient manner. Judy assists clients in real estate, mining, green energy and professional services industries by staying abreast of the legislative changes impacting their businesses. She helps her clients navigate through complicated domestic and international tax implications in a very practical manner and offers results-oriented solutions. Judy is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association (“CCPAA”). She acts in a leadership role and is actively involved in organizing many CCPAA conferences and seminars to promote professionalism in the Chinese business community and facilitates business investment activities between Canada and China.
