Annual General Meeting

CanCham Shanghai would like to invite the membership to CanCham’s Annual General Meeting 2016 where the Board of Directors will review 2015 and talk about the direction that the Chamber is heading in 2016. We also invite members to vote on Constitutional Amendments which will be sent out to the membership shortly.

We would also like to use this occasion to thank you for supporting the Chamber over the past years.

Canadian Consulate Briefing

With a new Liberal Government in place and speculation over the beginnings of a Canada-China Free Trade Agreement, as well as discussions over Canada joining the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, CanCham would like to welcome the Consul General of Canada in Shanghai, Mr. Weldon Epp, to provide a briefing to the community on the current state of Sino-Canadian relations, as well as what’s in store for 2016 and onwards. Topics will include:
  • Prime Minister Trudeau’s visit to China for the G20 Summit and other expected visits from Canada
  • Liberal Government plans for ongoing engagement with China
  • Canadian engagement in East China
