The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on March 28th. Today is the last day for Voting Representatives to send their Absentee Ballots.


Absentee Ballots must be sent to the Executive Director at helene@cancham.asia before6PM on the 27th of March 2019 (TODAY).


If you are the Voting Representative and have not received your absentee voting form, please contact helene@cancham.asia.

Members who missed the nomination deadline can be nominated by three (3) Member Voting Representatives from the floor at the AGM. Please refer to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's ByLaws Article 10(d).

    Helene Larochelle

    Executive Director of Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai

    Helene Larochelle is from northern Quebec and has lived and worked internationally for the past 10 years in Japan and China. She is a graduate of Temple University and holds an MBA in International Corporate Strategy from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.

    After a career in marketing in Montreal, Helene moved to Asia and worked for a number of Japanese companies including Sony as country localization manager, and FANCL as an international business development manager. She was also involved in several CSR programs including promoting social business with Uniqlo and Muhammad Yunus’ Grameen Bank in Bangladesh.

    Most recently Helene was a Governor of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCCJ), where she worked extensively on promoting the CCCJ’s interests and membership. Helene speaks French, English, Japanese and basic Mandarin.
