Despite the disruption caused by COVID-19, Chinese students' interest in studying abroad remains strong – and in fact, data shows it has grown by 10% since 2019. Now with international travel returning to pre-pandemic levels, how are students considering their choices? What changes have we seen in recent years in regard to the most popular destinations, and what specifically are Chinese students looking for in individual universities?

To optimise their recruitment strategies for the Chinese market, foreign universities and institutions must take note of how study-abroad destinations and expectations have evolved since the start of the pandemic. To shed light on the topic, BritCham Shanghai and its Education Committee invite a panel of speakers to discuss how overseas universities and other educational institutions operating in China can seize opportunities in the local market.
