Jeanette Yu is a Partner and the Head of Employment and Pensions Group of CMS China. Her practice covers all aspects of Chinese labor law. With more than 18 years’ experience of working with multinational companies, Jeanette has been involved in a number of significant projects and has advised clients on a wide range of employment law related issues, such as hiring and dismissing domestic and foreign employees, formulating employee related company rules and regulations, advising on employee benefits, non-competition, confidentiality, training agreement and employee inventions, mass lay-off, employee transfer in M&A projects, relocation, restructuring and the closing-down of businesses, social security, foreigners’ work permit and visa issues as well as providing solutions to various labor disputes.
Jeanette has been with CMS since 2005. Before that, she practiced law in renowned PRC law firms in Beijing where she gained many professional experiences as a PRC licensed lawyer.

Susan has 20+ years of rich HR experience in multinational companies, such as Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, INVISTA, Tyco Electronics, ExxonMobil, Praxair, GE Driver System. She has been handling China as well as Asia regional responsibilities in her previous roles, has solid knowledge in functions of in Learning and Development, Change management. Now, she owns responsibility for Firmenich China HR operations and strategic planning and is based in Shanghai.

A partner in the firm, Godelieve van Dooren is Mercer's Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacifit focusing on High Tech and Consumer Goods / Retail as well as Mercer's Benefits Products & Services. She leads several industry forums comprising of leading High Tech, eCommerce/Internet, FMCG and Retail companies and serves as the regional account manager for large Consumer Goods and Hight Tech accounts across MMC. Godelieve also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives for Mercer for the ASEAN countries and supports organizations in implementing D&I policies in the region.
